Home.

You all may think I am crazy for being excited about this, but Lizzy will be going home to her parents - not moving to a new foster home!!!

I am not sure when, but in the next few days.

Details later.

*just heard from the DHS worker that "she is not moving to a new foster home, the lawyer wants her moved home so we are going to get services in place in order to do that." I asked about a time frame and she said she didn't know yet.

Wow! What a week of crazy for you and Lizzy. That's awesome that they are pushing reunification. Praying it works.

Mom and bio dad? Her bio dad seems to really love her and does his best to take care of her. I'm so glad she won't have to get used to all new people. Praying this move home goes well for Lizzy and her parents. (and that you get those newborn preemie triplets soon... ;-)

YES YES YES BIO DAD!!!! that is the only reason I am so excited for her/them. i cried on the phone to him today because I was so happy she wouldn't have to go to a new foster home. He kept telling me over and over how I can see her when ever I want, I can come get her and take her places, he really is a good guy.

and seriously, I am freaking out about the triplets comments, I have been having notions of twins dancing around in my head for a couple weeks now and my last call being for twins was just a little too ironic. :)

I tell everyone that it has usually been my kids' dads who have really stepped up and done the best thing for their kids. I've had three of my six who have gone to their fathers... Only ONE returned to Mom... I'm really happy for him and for Lizzy. If she had to be moved, this is definitely the best option for her.

As far as the twins thing goes... My sister has TWO sets of boy/girl twins (2 1/2 months and 6 years). The newborns are hard, but it DOES get easier, and they are SO MUCH FUN!!! :-) Don't panic about twins. It's just double of the same thing. It's having them 12 months apart that's a nightmare!

You never know what is going to happen in the land of foster care. It is a roller coaster ride! I don't know how people could foster if they didn't know God. We put our hope in Him. I don't know how someone could do it if they didn't have someone to trust and put their hope him. Thank you again for loving on His kids.
