Crazy.

Today was nuts.

My two new little girls' parents had court today. The kids are all to remain in foster care, but mom and dad do not live in the state that mom got the kids taken away in (where I live) so they may/probably will be sent back to the state where their parents live. So, if they can find a foster home that will take them and if that state will accept the case they will be moving.

Court also called for a 3 hour visit TODAY (I love having 2 hours notice) which was interesting. I will fill you in on that later.

Wow!!! That IS crazy. I guess that makes sense for the sake of visits, court hearings, etc.

I hadn't really thought of it, but if my girls' mom was not forced to stay in TX because she is on probation and forbidden to leave the state, she would likely return to her home state (half way across the country) and the girls would likely be sent there as well. She just happened to be passing through TX when she and her boyfriend were arrested.

Please do update on the visit when you have time. :)

It all gets even crazier when you have to start dealing between the two states waiting to see if they will accept her.....moving along through the "ICPC" process can take a little time.

But don't ya just love the craziness!!lol have a good weekend:)

ok, I am not following along I guess. NEITHER parent lives in your state? or just one of them does and the other lives elsewhere? Hoping they are feeling better soon!
