Nutso.

Lizzy is driving me nuts. You would think it would be the other two.

Every time I turn around she is doing something she shouldn't. I guess she has finally decided to act out about these two new little people.

Well, so far I have been able to avoid new boy biting her. I am patting myself on the back for this.

I didn't send any wipes with the kids for their last 3 day visit with their mom, I did send diapers and everything else I shouldn't have to, but back to the story...

So, I pick them up and she says "You didn't send wipes with them so I had to use a wash rag on them."

And this is where I admit that I totally started laughing to myself that she "had to use a wash rag" to change diapers....maybe she should try buying some wipes...*insert evil grin here*

Amazing how many kids survived not having wipes and had "washrags" used on them ... many generations. In fact it makes you wonder what they did before washrags :)

Better yet... She couldn't go to the store in those three days?

Crazy stuff!!! Here, we don't have to send the baby with anything. the parents are supposed to provide a diaper bag for visits. When the baby is transitioned home, or if the case is going that way, obviously I would send more because in MY eyes, the parents have EARNED it. If I were you, I would 'forget' the wipes again...see what happens... :)

"Forget" some diapers while you're at it.

I agree with Tammy and Starfish Mom. I hate when I show up for visits and bio parents don't have ANY bottle, formula, diapers, wipes, etc. for their child. There is actually a printed sign in the DCFS lobby reminding parents that they should come to visits prepared with anything their child might need.

I would "forget" wipes and dipes, too. Wow, the sad part is minimal expectations for these parents to actually parent.
