A lot of you have mentioned that you would change your phone number if you were me because of Lizzy's bio family having it and acting nutty all the time.
I, because I guess i don't want anyone mad at me, keep thinking about telling them that we either decided not to adopt her or that she was placed with someone else. Yes, total lies. I don't know why that seems easier to me, but it does.
I'm not going to, but that often sounds like a good solution to me...

HaHa. Sounds good to me. :)
Im a lunatic like you and every nut associated with all my kiddos has my number, too.
Lying sounds legit, lol. One time I "lost my phone" when Tot's family was calling me 1000 times per day to get me to meet them sonmewhere
i don't think you need to do that. (as far as I know) they don't call you that much anymore do they? You could just ignore their calls. Since they don't call you that frequently, they may get the hint. well, except for bio mom cuz i don't think she can pick up on subtle things like "hints," and will move on to threatening to kill herself if you ignore her texts. but it's neither here nor there. :)
my girls' mom has never had my number, and your posts often remind me why ;-) ...you're awfully brave!
Reading this makes me think that I may have a pay-as-I-go phone set aside where I purchase minutes for it for the event that I have to give my number out to a parent. This way, if I run out of minutes, they can't contact me and I can keep it separate from my home phone. I can also leave this "parent" phone behind when I need a break. Of course I would keep it uploaded with minutes as needed. Just a thought.
