I did not attend court after talking to Lizzy's lawyer this morning. He said there was absolutely no benefit to me going so why make the hour trip up there and back.
He called me right after court.
The visitation of both parents has been suspended because the lawyer stated in court that he felt that further contact with the bio parents would be detrimental to Lizzy.
The termination of parental rights was said to be "starting in the beginning or so of February".
and yes, I cried once I processed all this.
I am so happy for Lizzy...and our family for the record.

i will have to tell you how I plan to deal with this once i figure out what i am going to do!!!!!!!!!

How wonderful that you won't have to live every Monday in limbo anymore! Won't it be nice to be able to make plans (even if those plans are to have no plans) on Mondays? And Christmas will be so wonderful knowing that freedom is coming for Lizzy. Praying for you as you decide what to do about the birthday party, and for the changes your family will hopefully see in the not-to-distant future!
